How does Julia approach her insecurities? "I embrace them," she told Beauty Lee Bar. "Most people try to hide their insecurities but I feel like our insecurities are what makes us stand out and be individuals. A model can feel insecure about something that ends up booking her a job. For me, it is my jaw. I have always had a HUGE jaw…and was made fun all through out high school, I mean kids would sing the JAWS theme song when I would walk down the hallway, but as I get older I have learner to embrace it and it ends up being the highlight of some of my photos."

Julia's one piece of advice? "DRINK LOTS OF WATER. I know people say it all the time, but it makes such a difference," she told Beauty Lee Bar. "I have had trouble with my skin in the past so I live by drinking a big glass of warm lemon water right when I wake up and drinking as much water as possible through out the day."

Julia has two pieces of advice when it comes to exercise: Mix up workout routines and keep things interesting. "Even getting up and hiking, or 15 minutes of cardio is better than nothing," she told Beauty Lee Bar.

Julia surrounds herself with people who push her to be her healthiest self. "There are so many days I don't want to eat healthy or go to the gym but he is always there pushing me to work harder and telling me I can do it," she said about her former boyfriend.

"Am I the only weirdo that likes to eat something sweet while eating my meal? like nothing's better than eating a sandwich and a cookie at the same time," Julia once tweeted. Her go-to indulgences are "anything covered in chocolate." "The reality is that ingredients in cocoa can be healthy, but the high-calorie chocolate bars that contain it aren't necessarily good for you. Cocoa comes from roasted cacao seeds. It's high in plant compounds called cocoa flavonoids, which have been shown in studies to have beneficial effects on heart disease risks, as well as on blood flow to the brain. Chocolate is the candy that's made by adding sugar, milk, and other ingredients to cocoa powder. Those ingredients also add fat and sugar, which counteract some of cocoa's health benefits," says Harvard Health.
